Todos Santos is located in the highlands of Guatemala, where the climate is very cold. This is the reason why many garments are woven with wool or are very thick in their texture. This huipil is woven in three panels on a back strap loom. It has a red and white striped background. The opening for the head is cut out in a square shape and is decorated with blue and red threads. The geometric designs are brocaded with cotton.
