This is a very rare Tapir or “Danta” Mask from Rabinal; grey and black painted, decorated with gorgeous painted eyes with tiny eyelashes and two white tusks. Beautiful delicate painted ears and a lovely large nose give this piece a gorgeous look. Patina on the back denotes use and age.
