The following item belongs to the range of “Antique and Rare Items of the Casa de Artes’ Treasures Series”. A detailed Ceremonial Huipil woven in 3 panels on a back strap loom with 4 selvedge ends. This ceremonial garment has a red, white, green and cuyuscate cotton background and is decorated with silk brocaded and embroidered designs. The panels are joined with silk randa.
