The huipil is woven in 2 panels. The piece shows a 4 selvedge ends. The warp background is woven with cotton and shows a red background and warp lines dyed with natural dyes. The weft is woven with white hand spun cotton thread.  The opening for the head shows 2 half-moons made with satin ribbon and silk embroidery.  The randa is embroidered with cotton.  Designs: geometric: phases of the moon.
