Two red panelled old style Huipil woven on a back strap loom, alternated with green, blue, orange and white thin warp stripes every two inches. The neckline is cut out and decorated with hand embroidered multicolour natural silk threads. These patterns symbolize the sun, and the moon. Two round blue fabric decorations are sewn on each side, which represents the two phases of the moon. Cotton embroidery called “randa” joins the two panels. It is not completely finished in the centre, because the lady who worn the huipil was nursing. All the colours are chemical dyes. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
