One paneled for a ceremonial tzute woven on a back strap loom, brocaded with different silk and cotton color designs. Geometric designs are the main subject of the decoration, which appear all over it. The background is woven with white and one thick warp red line on one side. The weaving has different weft stripes in high relieve woven on cotton and silk. A macramé work and fringes decorate both ends. This piece is use to carry or to cover the table during the ceremony. The red color is alycerin (one of the first chemical dyes which were produce) and the purple is mollusk – a natural dye. These characteristics make the piece a very special and rare one.
