Two paneled utility cloth woven on a back strap loom. All the designs represent different animals such as birds, deer and turkeys. Flowers and stars are other motives. These patterns are finely woven in with a combination of cotton and silk, alternating wonderful colours. This piece is used as a shawl or to cover the woman’s head. Notice the four selvedge ends.
