This character represents a cowboy from the Guatemalan Lowlands; this region is famous for its cattle and farms. Many workers come to the Fincas looking for an extra income and work during the harvest season in the lower lands. The pale skin is highlighted by masterly painted blush. High relieve carved moustaches and eyebrows give the piece a serious look. Notice the tiny painted eyelashes that highlight the gorgeous brown painted eyes. The backside of the piece shows the hardness of the wood smoothened by the constant use during the ceremonies. This Vaquero or Cowboy appears in the “Baile Convite”, a disguises parade. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
