The following item belongs to the range of “Antique and Rare Items of the Casa de Artes’ Treasures Series”. A detailed Ceremonial Huipil woven in 3 panels on a back strap loom with 4 selvedge ends. This ceremonial garment has a red, white, green and cuyuscate cotton background and is decorated with silk brocaded and embroidered designs. The panels are joined with silk randa. The collar is decorated with satin and silk, representing the sun and shows two moons.
