This is a very rare tapir or “Danta” Mask from Rabinal; grey and black painted, decorated with gorgeous painted eyes and two tusks. Beautiful delicate painted ears and a lovely nose give this piece a gorgeous look. Patina on the back denotes use and age. The piece had a bug-related problem as many holes in the mask’s surface show, but it has been already treated. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
