One panel ceremonial tzute for a “Vara” (septer) woven on a back strap loom. The piece shows four selvedge ends and pompons only in one end. The background is woven with different colored lines, which are made with natural dyes (indigo, green and yellow). Geometrical designs: crosses, corn plant, mountains and arrows. Zoomorphic designs: birds and humming birds.
