Two paneled utility cloth woven on a back strap loom. Each of the panels is finely brocaded different warp lines and flowers & candle holders patterns. These European designs are woven in, using the double face brocading technique, so the patterns show on both sides of the tzute. This technique is woven only in San Antonio Aguas Calientes. This piece can be used to cover the woman’s head or as a table cloth during the ceremony. Notice the four selvedge ends. All the colours are chemical dyes.
