Two paneled ceremonial Napkin or Utility Cloth woven on a foot loom. The tzute shows several weft stripes on each end, woven with materials like industrial spun cotton colored with indigo (natural dye) and red (chemical dye). On both ends a wide yellow stripe with purple borders decorates the tzute. Each side shows a purple legend; one has written “echo por victor cayax p” (made by Victor P) and the other tells “tejeduria de la sr maria sum j” (textile manufacture from Mrs. Maria Sum J”. On one of the sides the initials “MS” decorates the piece. All the writing is to personalize the piece. The background is woven with white cotton. The weaving has different weft stripes in high relieve woven with the same type of cotton. A macramé work and fringes decorate both ends. This piece is use to carry candles during the ceremony or procession. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
