This pair of rare primitive style articulated carved figurines represent the Holy Family, the Child is missing though. These “gonce” or articulated carvings have a lovely facial expression. Both Joseph and Mary have blushing cheeks, painted eyebrows, carefully carved hair, hands and glass eyes. Their articulated arms allow them to be moved in various positions and gestures, and to be dressed at will. The “bastidor” legs indicate that the pieces were dressed with robes as biblical scenes reflect. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
