The piece has gracefully red painted eyebrows, eyelashes and moustaches. Notice the enormous blue glass eyes surround by a red frame and red lips that give a dramatic gesture to the mask. A prominent nose and chin denote the African origin of the character. This Vaquero or Cowboy appears in the “Baile Convite”, a disguises parade. Magnificent patina on the backside denotes use and age.
