Three panelled Head Tzute woven on a back strap loom. The piece is closed in the sides, folded and used as a ceremonial veil by women. It has a size and the shape of a long Huipil, but without neckline. The warp is woven with white hand spun cotton. The central panel is fully brocaded with geometric patterns (feathered serpent, wind, lightning, flower pots, stars, birds and Venus as “Eye of God”). The two side panels have less brocaded geometric patterns in horizontal sections. Notice the four selvedge ends on each panel. All the colours are chemical dyes. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
