Two panelled utility cloth woven on a back strap loom. This piece is used as a shawl or to cover the woman’s head. All the designs in this tzute are woven in, representing different animals such as birds, squirrels, roosters, deer and turkeys. Flowers and stars are other motives. These patterns are finely woven in with a combination of cotton and silk, alternating wonderful colours. The background is woven with red and shows a grid setting. Both panels are joined with a hand embroidered randa (joining band). Notice the four selvedge ends. All the colours are chemical dyes. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
