The “Cofradías” or religious brotherhoods carry the floats or processions and burn incense to honor the saints with this gorgeous incensories. The whole piece has a glazed grey-greenish stumped surface. The incensory’s top has a yellow cage that is decorated on the backside with ducks that protect the fire from extinguishing. In the middle section, green and yellow flowers highlight the piece’s basis in the traditional Antigua Majolica Style. The base has three wonderful ducks as decorations that make the piece more rare and special. Very small fractures caused when landing the incense burner on the floor during the processions have damaged the piece’s bottom. Lovely yellow and blue flowers decorate the lower section. The Incensory has a beautiful fine green and yellow frame that is crowned with a round yellow knot.
