This is a magnificent vintage Maraca or Rattle worn during ceremonial masked dances of the Mayan Festivals in the Guatemalan Highlands.  The piece was carved at the costume shops or Morerias that rent the masks, costumes and musical instruments to the dancers. The piece has a beautiful multicolor design. The piece is perfect condition, given its age and has a rich sound. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
