Two blue paneled Corte or Skirt woven on a foot loom. The Skirt is decorated with blue and white geometric patterns in the tie-dye technique. The blue color is “indigo”, a natural dye. The silk multicolor thick hand made “randa” or joining band creates an embroidered cross, Maya cross, on top. Skirts have been used nowadays for decorative purposes, like bedcovers and tablecloths because of their huge proportions. All the colours are chemical dyes, except fro the indigo blue. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
