Lovely primitive-style hand carved image representing San Antonio. Baby Jesus sits on a bible on his left hand; dressed with a green robe with silver dots, he spreads the Gospel. Notice the carefully carved hair details. Fine brown painted eyes highlighted with tiny eyebrows give the piece a humble look, proper of the Franciscan Order. The figure rests in a wooden stand. Saint Anthony is Patron Saint of medicine; his healing powers have attracted many believers to his cause. He can be invoked for business and money matters; he also helps to find a husband. On June 13th he is turned upside down and 13 pennies are placed in front of him until a mate is found. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping
