A singular three panelled Huipil woven on a back strap loom with 4 selvedge ends. This ceremonial huipil is woven with a white background colour. The neckline is cut out decorated with a hand embroidered finishing. The piece is completely brocaded with designs: geometric designs: planets Venus, mountains, zigzag – feather serpent and “quix” patterns (rhombuses); zoomorphic designs: pelicans, birds and double headed eagles.
