A wonderful three panelled Huipil woven on a back strap loom with 4 selvedge ends. This huipil is woven with the original white and purple striped background colour. It also shows corded weft lines. The neckline is cut out decorated with a hand embroidered finishing. Each of the panels is nicely brocaded with designs over the shoulder part showing geometric designs: corn plant and feather serpent; zoomorphic designs: deer and double headed birds. Some of the patterns are brocaded with silk.
