Two panelled Huipil woven on a back strap loom. San Raymundo has several common coloured stripes on the warp of the blouse, very similar to the San Juan Sacatepéquez style: (purple, red, yellow and brown).  Each of the panels is nicely brocaded with zoomorphic (turkeys) and geometrical (feather serpent and planets) patterns over the shoulder part. Notice the four selvedge ends for both panels. The round neckline is cut out and hand embroidered on top using cotton. All the colours are chemical dyes, except for the light brown on some of the warp stripes which is the natural hand spun brown cotton “Cuyuscate”.
