Saint’s Huipil woven in one panel on a back strap loom.  The piece shows four selvedge ends. The background is woven with white cotton and the designs are woven with cotton and silk.  The opening for the head is decorated with silk and cotton.  It shows two arm holes.  The randa is simulated in the warp.  At one of the ends the designs are embroidered with silk and cotton.  Designs: zoomorphic: birds, monkeys, squirrels and dogs; geometric: stars, “portales” and feather serpent.
