Two panel Ceremonial Huipil for a Texel. The warp background is woven with cuyuscate and cotton. The weft is woven with red cotton thread.  The piece shows a 4 selvedge ends. The opening for the head is decorated with satin ribbon.  All the cuyuscate is hand spun. The designs are woven in all the huipil. Designs: zoomorphic: birds and spider; Geom.: monstrance, serpent.
