This character represents a black cowboy from the Atlantic Coast. This region is famous for its black “Garifuna” Ethnic Group. The piece has gracefully painted teeth and a gorgeous smiling gesture, highlighted by horse hair moustaches and beard. The piece is decorated with a string of macramé work that has the function of a camise’s neck. Red low relieve carved details remark the character’s gesture. A prominent nose and big red lips denote the African origin of the character. This Vaquero or Cowboy appears in the “Baile Convite”, a disguises parade.  Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
