Hand made plate by the famous Montiel Family from Antigua Guatemala. The piece is decorated with light brown, green and yellow circles on the edge. A lovely man’s face with detailed moustaches, beard and eyebrows represents the face of the Sun highlights the plate. The face has green and yellow triangles to represent the sun shining. The piece was worn by Cofradias during Religious Ceremonies when they presented the offerings to the Patron Saints. The plate is glazed as a finishing touch.
