One panelled sash woven on a back strap loom. San Juan Sacatepequez has several common coloured stripes on the warp of the sash: (purple, red and yellow). The piece is nicely brocaded with zoomorphic patterns on both ends (feathered serpent, roosters, birds, and stars). Most of the white embroidered details are made with silk.
